Follow these steps to complete ProtonVPN Free
1. Create an Account for FREE VPN access(Cell Phone/Computer)
Like most apps, you need an account to customize and protect your device. Click the link below to be directed to the account creation page. Bookmark this page and file your login in a safe place. It is needed to complete the setup. bit.ly/protonvpn4free (Cell Phone or Computer-leave open when completed)
*Limit – 1 device per account. A different email is required for each device you want to register.
2. Download/Install the ProtonVPN app to your Firestick.
Your device must be unlocked and allow Installation of Apps from Unknown Sources. To attempt the install, proceed to the steps below.
A. Locate and open the Downloader app( ) on your Firestick.
B. Input the link in the provided space: bit.ly/protonvpnapp
C. Allow time for the app to download and click Install.
D. When it is completed, select Done/Delete/Done.
E. Locate, select, and open the ProtonVPN app( ) . It should be located at the end of your app row.
*(Don't see it) Scroll to the end of your App Row, click Applications( ), then scroll down to the last app.
There you will find the ProtonVPN app.
3. Complete Setup: Link Device to ProtonVPN Firestick App
A. On your displayed Firestick screen, you will see the link: protonvpn.com/tv
B. Go back to the open browser(Chrome/Edge) page on the device/phone where you created your account, and in the address bar at the top, type in that link(protonvpn.com/tv). You will be provided with some numbers. Input those numbers on your Firestick screen in the displayed ProtonVPN boxes.
4. Connect to A Server: Test Blackbox App
A. Arrow down and select United States. Monitor the screen and wait to see CONNECTED. Once it appears, click Home( ) on your firestick remote.
B. Locate, select to open the Blackbox Xtreme App, and test your channels.
*VPN not helping. Try switching servers:
From the ProtonVPN Main Screen, arrow down two rows, over to the right and select the United States flag. On the following screen, arrow down and select Server list. Choose either of USFREE options with a green circle. Select it and you will be CONNECTED.
*Anytime you experience issues with buffering on multiple channels, ensure you are connected.
