Tech-Time Streams continues to win the hearts of streamers across the South, with its newest release, Blackbox Xtreme.  Blackbox Xtreme drives the model of cable over the internet to provide a bigger selection and a brighter picture. Only a few requirements are needed to launch this service.  You must have high-speed internet that meets the minimum speed qualification for every desired television.   Once network speed is confirmed, you are ready to begin setup.  Follow the steps below to complete the service installation.

1. Speed Test at each TV(Test your internet speed)

Download the Speedtest by Ookla app to either your cell phone or tablet.  You can find it on the Google Play or Apple Store.  You can also visit speedtest.net on the web for another option.  First, turn off your cell phone's data.  Once you have downloaded and installed the app, stand by each TV and run the speed test.  Ensure you have at least 20 Mbps of download speed.  If not, you will need to contact your service provider and upgrade to a faster speed or consider switching to another provider.

Blackbox Xtreme is an app that can be downloaded to various streaming devices. The most common devices include the Fire TV Stick (available at Best Buy and Office Depot), Onn 4 K streaming devices (Walmart), and some Smart TVs. For those who already have one of these devices, ensure it has the most current update and at least 300 MB of free space before attempting to install the app. The best option is to purchase our device. Our devices come with Blackbox pre-installed and carry a one-year warranty. A self-installation pamphlet will be shipped with every order to guide you through the process.

Shipping is available within the US and typically arrives within 2 days after it is released to the carriers. Fee-based, in-home Tech services are available for device installation in select locations. Contact Customer Support to see if we service your area.

We offer several payment methods to accommodate our customers.  Whether you are starting new services or paying your monthly bill, we have options for you.  New service customers, with their own device, must pay their first month's bill(in full) to start services.  Your next bill will be due 30 days from the day you begin service. Your due date is always listed at the top right corner of your Blackbox Main Menu screen.  We offer discounts to anyone who sets up Auto-Pay on our site or through PayPal Payment Services.  Payment options are listed below.

In-home tech services are available for customers who prefer having a technician manage the installation process. Our support team can schedule both the delivery and installation of our products for those who are unable or hesitant to install them themselves. Please note that this service is only available within a 30-mile radius of our tech service areas.  To schedule your appointment, a non-refundable service fee is required. Once your appointment is confirmed, please ensure that someone is present at home so the technician can enter and complete the setup.


If any additional equipment is needed (such as cords), you will be responsible for paying the technician for these accessories upon completion of the job.  To ensure the safety of our technicians, please clear a path and provide clear access to the back of your TV. Verify that your internet meets the required speed of 20 Mbps or higher, and gather enough cords and surge protectors to ensure that they reach your wall outlet.
